È uno dei posti più belli della città, un paradiso per gli amanti del cinema e l’occasione perfetta per sentirsi un po’ più colti senza rinunciare al divertimento. La Cineteca di Bologna, fondata nel 1962, è un ente di grande importanza e fama per quanto riguarda promozione, la distribuzione e la preservazione dell’arte cinematografica, rinomata in tutto il mondo per essere uno dei più importanti enti di restauro e conservazione di vecchie pellicole.
La Cineteca, oltre ai laboratori ed i luoghi di studio, diffonde cinema (sempre in lingua originale) anche attraverso le sue sale: il Cinema Lumiére, la Sala Cervi ed il Cinema Modernissimo 🎬🍿

If you’re in Bologna and you haven’t been to the Cineteca yet… what are you even doing? It’s one of the coolest places in town, a paradise for film lovers, and the perfect excuse to feel a little more cultured while still having fun. The Cineteca di Bologna, founded in 1962, is an institution of great importance and fame regarding the promotion, distribution and preservation of cinematographic art, renowned throughout the world for being one of the most important institutions for the restoration and conservation of old films.
The Cineteca, in addition to the laboratories and study places, also broadcasts cinema (always in the original language) through its four cinemas: the Cinema Lumiére, the Sala Cervi and the Cinema Modernissimo. 🎬🍿

Howard Ratner, a jeweler and compulsive gambler, attempts the heist of a lifetime with an extremely rare Ethiopian opal, risking everything with loans, bets, and dead-end lies. The Safdies' direction, as usual claustrophobic and tense, follows the whirlwind of high-stakes gambles that overwhelms the protagonist, a brilliant Adam Sandler. A fable about unbridled ambition destined for self-destruction, an instant New Yorker enhanced by the participation of NBA star Kevin Garnett as himself.
