Cinema finalmente.

Vi aspettiamo!!

The 22nd film of the series will be "IO NON HO PAURA" (I'M NOT SCARED), movie made in 2003 directed by Gabriele Salvatores, who won the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film for Mediterraneo. The story is based on the novel by award-winning writer Niccolò Ammaniti.

Michele, ten years old, lives in a village of four houses in Basilicata. With her younger sister and other friends running around by bicycle in the streets among the wheat. At home there's the mom while the "affectionate" dad is a truck driver. Intrigued by a metal door near a ruined house, Michele opens it and sees a hole, and at the bottom of a foot coming out of a blanket. After the initial shock returns to the scene and discovers that foot belongs to a child like him, blond and delicate, almost blind to the darkness, reduced to a larva. Thus began a especially friendship between the two. In subsequent visits Michele brings him food, speaks to him, gives him new hope...

One of his best movies, this of Salvatores, where back to "narrate" and does it really well. The long scenes of preparation and connection to the central fact, charming and sunny, don't clash. The grain and the sky, the animals and the hills, everything is in line with the story. It is a south that is not nearly Italy, but it is the world. To save his friend, Michele runs into the night, he murmurs to himself a fable and a spell, around the owl catches a mouse, a small snake assists from his stone. Finally cinema.

See you there!
